On Friday, October 24, 2025, American Prep welcomes Tahmineh Dehbozorgi, a Dissident Project speaker who escaped the Ayatollah’s Iran in 2015. Now a student at George Washington University Law School and a UCLA Honors graduate in Political Science, Tahmineh has worked in grassroots organizing and journalism (Campus Reform), with bylines in local and national outlets. She’ll share a first-person account of life under authoritarianism, her escape, and why free speech and civic courage matter.
