Dear APA Eagle Mountain Families,
Family involvement is at the heart of the APA experience. Students and our school community thrive when families are involved. When you engage, it makes a real difference—for your child, and for the community we’re building together at Eagle Mountain.
Getting Involved — We’d Love Your Help
We ask all APA families to contribute volunteer hours each school year. It’s one of the things that makes our school community feel like a community — and it’s often the part families end up loving most once they dive in.
Hours can be found in a variety of ways and there is a place for every kind of family, whether you love being in the room with kids or prefer to help organize, plan, or support from home.
We track volunteer hours through Bloomz, and at the end of the year, we celebrate every family’s contribution at our Volunteer Recognition Assembly — a chance for the whole APA community to say thank you for everything you’ve done to help us grow.
Be a Founding Family — Volunteer Opportunities at Eagle Mountain
Opportunities like this only come around once — when a brand new campus opens. Families who pitch in this year may earn the distinction of being a Founding Family at APA Eagle Mountain — and like all our volunteers, you’ll be celebrated at our end-of-year Volunteer Recognition Assembly.
Become Your Classroom’s Academic Support Team Leader
Every class has an Academic Support Team leader — a parent who helps the homeroom teacher stay ahead of the small things that add up.
As an AST, you’ll help coordinate:
- Classroom volunteers — recruiting parents for projects and activities
- Grading help — correcting papers from home
- Field trips and events — lining up chaperones
- Culminating activities — support for end-of-unit celebrations
Time commitment: about 30–60 minutes a month, most of it from home on your own schedule.

Spread the Word
One of the most valuable things you can do for our new campus is invite your neighbors. APA Eagle Mountain is tuition-free, open enrollment, and serves K–6 families across Cedar Fort, Eagle Mountain, White Hills, and Firefly. Know someone who’d be a great fit? Send them our way.
