We are honored to have partnered with Daniels Fund in expanding school choice and competition since 2009 when we duplicated our high performing charter school model with the opening of APA-The School for New Americans (WV1) in West Valley City. Since then, Daniels Fund has been instrumental in all of our satellite expansions, including the recent Cedar City campus.
We’re proud to partner with Utah’s Department of Workforce Services, a vital state resource dedicated to helping young people turn potential into opportunity. The Department of Workforce Services, Office of Child Care (DWS, OCC) supports West Valley City’s Out-of-School Time (OST) programs through the School Age Quality Grant. This grant focuses on maintaining the highest quality of programs with concentrations on student, community, and organization engagements.
We are pleased to highlight our partnership with USU STARS GEAR UP, a college-access initiative of Utah State University that strives to increase the number of low-income students who are prepared for, enroll in, and succeed in postsecondary education.
Through workshops, campus visits, free camps, and hands-on support, USU STARS empowers students and families to navigate financial aid, admissions, and the transition to college life.
Our Sistema Utah program thrives thanks to the generous support of our community partners. These organizations share our belief in the power of music and education to change lives. Through their collaboration, funding, and mentorship, our students gain access to instruments, performance opportunities, and experiences that enrich both their learning and their communities.
